Terms of Service

By accessing or using Khaos Live (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms incorporate by reference our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, Content Policy, Cookie Policy, and DMCA Policy.

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum digital-consent age in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher — 16 in much of the EU/UK) to use the Service. Users under 18 must have a parent or guardian's consent. The Service is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@khaoslive.com of any unauthorized access.

You agree not to:

• Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right.
• Post content that is unlawful, harmful, harassing, deceptive, or infringing.
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Use automated means to access, scrape, or manipulate the Service or its rankings.
• Manipulate debate outcomes, vote totals, leaderboards, or AI scoring.

The Service uses artificial intelligence to moderate content, score debates, generate clips, suggest topics, and produce summaries. AI outputs may be inaccurate, biased, or incomplete and are provided "as is." AI judgments are advisory; final platform decisions may incorporate human review. You may not represent AI-generated content as professional, legal, medical, or financial advice.

Detailed rules live in our Community Guidelines and Content Policy. We may, in our sole discretion: remove content; warn, suspend, or terminate accounts; revoke rewards or ranking; restrict features; and report unlawful conduct to authorities.

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms or to protect the Service or its users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

The Service, including its software, design, logos, and trademarks, is owned by Khaos Live and protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to our trademarks or trade dress.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KHAOS LIVE AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Khaos Live from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

Informal resolution. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at legal@khaoslive.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 60 days.

Binding arbitration. Except where prohibited by law, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by final and binding arbitration administered in Wilmington, Delaware under the rules of a recognized arbitration body (e.g., AAA or JAMS). Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Class-action waiver. To the extent permitted by law, you and we agree that each may bring claims against the other only in your or its individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding.

Residents of the EU, UK, and other jurisdictions where these provisions are unenforceable retain all statutory rights, including the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence apply.

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
